So it’s 2012, we are almost a month into the New Year;  what happened to January?  How many you are already breaking those New Year’s Resolution’s?

Well, I for one did not make any per say; I have things I want to do in 2012, and with continued support from my family and God I plan to do so.  One day at a time; and not stress over things that I do not get accomplished.

To start off the New Year I got a bad cold; what better time than to use the new juicer I got for Christmas.  Both my kids love to help in this process.  Now I did not have exactly what I needed so we made up our own recipe.

This month has just flown by and I feel like that not much has been accomplished; but I am reminded that what has gotten done is what is important.  Time with God and my family; even though I have work stuff to do it will wait and the time will come.

I was reminded by a friend the other day of Joshua 1:9 “Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord they God is with three whither so ever thou goest.”  I needed that as the last couple weeks I felt like forever step I took forward I was taking two back.

Sometimes as a stay at home mom I feel like at the end of the day or month I have nothing to show for it.  Time seems to get away from me!  But I continue to remember that no matter what it will all happen in GOD’S time not MINE.

While doing things for other throughout the year we need to also take care of ourselves.  My goal is to exercise 2-4 times a week and be applying Essential Oils on a daily bases.  We need to learn to live by example to our friends, family and clients.

Leaving you with this thought as we close out the end of the first month of 2012; what are you going to do for God, yourself, friends and business (home or otherwise) for the remaining 11 months of 2012?

As I wonder if I am teaching my kids anything, are they learning and is it sinking in Joshua (my almost 15 month old) climbs up on my lap.  With an empty roll-on essential oil bottle (Deep Relief and Tranquil) and lifts up the edge of my shirt and rubs in on my tummy.  Being fully aware that this took no prompting and that he was smiling knowing what he were doing.  I am so thankful that my kids love the smell of oils and know how to properly use them for the most part.

Oil Application

Which on that note; last week my curious 4 year old (Joy) was at my friends office and found a bottle of Thieves Spray and accidently sprayed in her eyes while looking at it.  As calmly as possible I got a cool cloth and some V-6 Oil and applied.  With in minutes she was all better. NO need to call poison control or go to the hospital because it was an "all natural product" and it was not chemically based.

Joy has wanted recently to help me start cleaning, etc.  I can have her help me clean without worrying because I clean with Thieves Household Cleaner which is completely safe and chemical free.

Both my children LOVE to brush there teeth and this is something that I enjoy seeing them do together.  And we use again all natural tooth paste.  We introduce them to teeth brushing as young as 10 months and use Thieves Toothpaste and Kid Scents Toothpaste.  The kids will use both toothpaste and love the flavor of both!
